Consumer Reports Many people consult Consumer Reports before buying a car, television or others items for their households, but what about long term care insurance or safety at home?
Using a search engine effectively
There are ways to help you find what you need more quickly and closer to where you need the product or service.
For instance, if you use Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves or one of the many different search engines, try this:
- type in your search words in singular form, for instance 'senior service' instead of 'senior services'
- type in the name of the city and state without the comma between them
- type in the zip code of the city, if you know it
The sites that will be listed first will be those closest to you for the item you trying to find.
By requesting the search engine look in your area, your search will be faster and more likely to give you information that is meaningful.
Please don't hesitate to recommend other websites, addresses or phone numbers of individuals, businesses or organizations that you found to be helpful to your resident and family members. We appreciate your help. Thank you.
My recommendations.
